Bye Bambi is a fast-growing, high-fashion brand with a cult global following. We create bold, editorial collections, unforgettable events, and viral brand moments. With our biggest projects yet on the horizon — including our upcoming New York activation — we're looking for an exceptional General Manager to take the reins of daily operations and help us scale to the next level.

The Role

We're looking for a hands-on, highly organised, and solutions-focused General Manager to lead our small but powerful team, streamline workflows, and keep the business running at peak efficiency every day. This is a leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced creative environment, balancing big-picture oversight with sharp attention to detail.

You'll work closely with the Founder to implement systems, manage performance, and ensure all parts of the business are moving — freeing up creative and strategic capacity at the top.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Management

  • Oversee and support a small, creative team on a daily basis
  • Allocate and manage daily and weekly tasks across staff
  • Conduct regular check-ins and performance reviews
  • Monitor productivity and ensure accountability
  • Foster a motivated, high-performing work culture

Operational Excellence

  • Implement and optimise workflows, systems, and processes
  • Maintain a highly organised and efficient office environment
  • Set up effective team communication channels and protocols
  • Integrate automations and AI tools to save time and boost efficiency

Business Oversight

  • Oversee smooth operations across all departments (production, sales, marketing, PR, retail)
  • Manage and coordinate virtual assistants (VAs) and contractors
  • Oversee finances and reporting in collaboration with bookkeeping and accounting teams
  • Review and interpret sales reports, making recommendations for growth and efficiency

Project Management

  • Keep major projects (including launches and activations) on track
  • Ensure timelines and deadlines are met without compromising quality
  • Troubleshoot and problem-solve quickly when issues arise

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in a General Manager, Operations Manager, or senior leadership role (preferably in fashion, retail, creative industries, or fast-growing startups)
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire small teams
  • Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
  • Confident implementing systems, processes, and workflows from scratch
  • Excellent communication skills, both internally and externally
  • Strong financial literacy and experience with budgets, sales, and performance reporting
  • Tech-savvy, with the ability to adopt new tools and automations
  • Calm under pressure and solution-oriented, even in high-stakes moments
