About the Role
We are looking for a Divisional Coordinator to support the Australian Museum Research Institute Division.
The Divisional Coordinator provides administrative and support services to facilitate the operations of the Australian Museum Research Institute (AMRI) and collaborates effectively with other divisions. The position also liaises with other internal and external stakeholders on behalf of the division/AMRI and is an active participant in Museum projects.
Employment Status:
- Clerk Grade 3/4
- Full time ongoing
- 35 hours per week
You will be paid a competitive annual salary $84,659 - $92,701, plus employer's contribution to superannuation (currently 12%) and annual leave loading.
About the Australian Museum Research Institute Division
The Australian Museum Research Institute Division is made up of six branches, hosting more than 100 staff, who support the full suite of research and collections management activities for the Museum's Natural Science collections. Our research activities are guided by our Science Strategy and our vision is "To anticipate and respond to fundamental scientific questions about our past, present and future leading to positive impacts on our changing planet; to protect, improve and provide access to our collections in a sustainable and equitable way; and to advance public understanding of science, grounded in our research expertise."
About you
We are looking for a professional who is good at coordinating and has attention to details. To be successful in this role you will have:
- Demonstrated experience supporting with administrative tasks.
- Experience working in a research office environment.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 apps and services including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, etc
- Experience with HPE Content Manager, , Sharepoint and myWorkZone is highly desirable.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Availability to attend after hours events as required
- An interest in science and research is desirable
