About the Role

As an Integration Developer at 4WD Supacentre, you'll play a critical role in enabling the business to quickly adapt its strategy and embrace innovative, market-disrupting technologies with minimal risk. This hands-on technical position is focused on minimising the time to value and maximising return on investment by taking concepts swiftly to market.

In this role, you'll be integral to the implementation of the company's high-growth strategy by architecting and building robust, scalable integrations using best-in-class technologies. You'll help reduce implementation and maintenance costs while lowering the business's dependency on the ICT department.

Your typical week will involve a balanced mix of responsibilities, including gathering business requirements (20%), architecting and designing solutions (20%), building integrations (50%), and identifying improvement opportunities and maintaining documentation (10%). You'll work closely with internal developers and other stakeholders to bring strategic ideas to life.

Ultimately, this role is about connecting the old world to the future of 4WD Supacentre; leveraging cutting-edge integration technologies that federate millions of transactions and connect hundreds of internal and external systems, ensuring a seamless, secure, and high-performing data ecosystem that delights millions of customers each month.

Role Responsibilities:


• Owning our Cloud Integration Platform (iPaas)


• Establishing, documenting and enforcing Integration Principles/Security


• Establish and maintain low code / no-code integration practices


• Design and apply integration patterns to solve a business problem


• Take ownership of transactional and analytical data integration


• Implement solutions to transfer data with accuracy and minimal latency


• Secure data connection endpoint to comply considering possible Cyber Security threats


• Implement and design modern integrations between internal and external systems through the appropriate way for the purpose


• Implement reusable integration with version control (for source code and API versions)


• Implement highly scalable, high-availability Integration Bus in the cloud

About you:

You'll bring:


• Excellent knowledge implementing, REST API, SOAP Services, XML, CSV data dumps


• Cloud based integration platform architecture experience


• Knowledge of the integration "DOs" and "DON'Ts"


• A high standard for designing solutions with documentation, security and error handling


• Extensive experience with AWS


• A very high coding standard and experience with complex software systems


• The capability to analyse, explore and refactor legacy applications with uplifting technologies

Required skills and qualifications


• Master's Degree in Computer Science


• 5+ years' in Agile Software Development


• Experience with integrating systems 3 + years

Beneficial skills and qualifications (but not essential)


• Integration implementation in Mulesoft and Workato


• Workato Pro III certificate


• TOGAF 9.2 Certificate


• Google Cloud Architect Certificate


• Security Engineer or Associate Certificate


• Workato Platform experience
