Our team has an opportunity for a new member of our Auction team in Milperra/Sydney NSW. This role is open to all experience levels and would suit someone who is enthusiastic about motor vehicles, mechanically minded, and wanting to learn how to manage one of our busiest sites for car auctions.
Our Car Auction Managerwill oversee the processing and auction sale of in excess of over motor vehicles per week. From classic cars, super cars, motorcycles, commercials and passenger vehicles; there isn't any make/ model we haven't auctioned or valued. This is a full-time permanent role (Mo - Fri) and travel for work will be required.
Key responsibilities of this permanent, full-time role include:
- Managing motor vehicle auctions
- Asset inspections
- Performing valuation reports (training provided)
- Coordinating with clients and contractors
- Maintaining existing client relationships
- Developing new client relationships
As our successful candidate, you will have:
- 2+ years' experience in the motor vehicle industry coupled with sound knowledge of motor vehicles
- Auction industry experience desirable
- Previous people and contractor management experience
- Effective communication skills and good personal presentation
- Organisation skills with the ability to re-prioritise changing workloads
- Good computer skills – MS Office, CRM and internet
- Current manual driver's license
- No criminal record - successful candidates will be subject to a Police check
