Construction Project Manager

Focused Facilities Management is a fast-growing firm providing facilities management services to some of Melbourne's premium residential and commercial developments offering top-notch concierge and security services; maintenance of essential (life safety) services and non-essential services including waste management plans, car park maintenance, gym and pool maintenance; and commercial cleaning, that allow buildings and precincts to operate effectively.

Focused Facilities Management based in North Melbourne is looking to employ a Construction Project Manager to join their team

Salary $93,500 + Superannuation

To be considered for this opportunity you will have:

Australian or equivalent Bachelor of Engineering Majoring in Civil Engineering.

A minimum of 1 year's experience in Construction Project Management with an Australian Company.

Experience of working in a Facilities Management Environment will be preferred

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Leading the coordination and prioritisation of resources across projects contracted by the company
  • assessing and interpreting architectural drawings and specifications for each project
  • coordinating resources, procurement and delivery of materials, plant and equipment
  • consulting with Architects, Engineering Professionals and other professionals, and Technical and Trades Workers
  • managing links between projects and monitoring overall time, costs, quality, budget and risk
  • negotiating with stakeholders throughout the construction process and project lifecycle
  • developing tenders and contract bids
  • managing and monitoring adherence to legislation and standards of performance and safety
  • managing submission of plans to local authorities and liaising with stakeholders to undertake relevant inspections throughout the project
  • leading and managing human resources including subcontractors, standards, progress and delivery of project and program requirements
  • managing change and implementation of projects and programs
  • establishing and managing project plans to ensure alignment with program strategic goals and project outcomes
