THE ROLE:

This isn't a site-based or commercial PM role – it's an Assistant Project Manager position focused on Pre-Construction.

You'll be the link between design, approvals, and delivery, making sure everything is set up for construction to run smoothly once they hit the site.

This opportunity could suit:

  • A Project Coordinator, or Contract Administrator, ready to step up into full PM responsibility, OR
  • A Junior or Assistant Project Manager in a similar role, looking for fresh challenges and a more engaging environment.

DAY TO DAY:

  • Coordinate pre-construction workflows, permits, approvals, and compliance
  • Oversee project documentation, contracts, specifications, and selections
  • Liaise with consultants, internal/external stakeholders and authorities to keep projects moving
  • Track budgets, timelines, and risks — ensuring everything is in place before construction
  • Support or lead contract administration processes as required

ABOUT YOU:

  • Experience in a similar role or ready to step up from a Project Coordinator or Contracts Admin
  • Background in residential or medium-density projects for a builder/developer
  • Strong knowledge of approvals, compliance, and pre-construction workflows
  • Confident communicator who can coordinate across stakeholders, consultants, and authorities
  • Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects at once
  • Must have full Australian working rights
