Are you a seasoned construction lawyer with strong public sector experience, ready to step into a role with real leadership potential?

Join a thriving Construction, Infrastructure & Projects team at a respected mid-tier firm with deep roots in the government, infrastructure, and waste/resource recovery sectors. This is your opportunity to build a niche, lead high-value matters, and shape the future of a growing practice.

You'll work alongside a nationally recognised Principal - respected for their commercial acumen, collaborative leadership, and deep relationships across local and state government. Seeking a trusted Senior Associate to step into this key role: leading matters, mentoring junior lawyers, strengthening client relationships, and helping drive the next phase of strategic growth.

The Role
  • Advising developers, contractors, and government clients on front-end construction and infrastructure matters
  • Drafting and negotiating complex project and commercial agreements
  • Supporting delivery across aged care, education, utilities, and civic infrastructure
  • Leading business development, panel submissions, and cross-practice collaboration
  • Mentoring junior lawyers and contributing to a high-performing, values-driven team
You
  • 7-10+ years' PAE in construction, infrastructure, or major projects
  • Strong public sector experience - VicGov or Commonwealth panel exposure highly regarded
  • Sector experience in waste/resource recovery, aged care, education, or local government
  • Commercial savvy, clear communication, and a proactive, collaborative mindset
