Perth, Western Australia Ignite Community Network Full time $60,000 - $80,000 per year

Ignite Community Network is passionate about supporting people with a disability to increase their independence, capacities and opportunities to live a full and active life and we are looking for a Scheduling Coordinator to join our team.

As the Scheduling Coordinator you will oversee, the core functions of the scheduling, rostering and training of Disability Support Workers. This position will also be responsible for the management the organisation's training database, ensuring that workers have completed specific training requirements set by the organisation.

Working as a Scheduling Coordinator you will be responsible for the following functions:


• Implement core scheduling function for Ignite Community Network.


• Manage Disability Support Worker availability.


• Participate in Disability Support Worker induction.


• Maintaining accurate records within the organisation's training databases.


• Management of specific training needs of individuals connected with Ignite.


• Provide monthly reports to the Chief Executive Officer.


• Participate in the on-call/ after-hours roster. Weekdays 5pm to 9am, weekends 5pm to 5pm)

To be suitable for this role, we are looking for someone who is passionate about working with people with a disability and has an analytical approach to their work. In order to be suitable for the position you must meet the following criteria:

Essential:

  1. Experience in scheduling in the disability sector.

  2. Experience in scheduling and rostering.

  3. Ability to manage complex workloads.

  4. Experience with the NDIS.

  5. Experience in managing training programs.

  6. Highly developed written and verbal communication and negotiation skills.

  7. High level of computer proficiency in MS Office suite.

  8. Participant in the on-call/after-hours roster (on average 3 times per fortnight)

Desirable:

  1. Tertiary qualification (diploma, advanced diploma or undergraduate degree in human services or a scheduling related industry).

  2. Experience using Datanova Flow Logic software.
