About the role

Stocks Designer Appliances' & Bathrooms is seeking a talented and ambitious Retail and Trade Sales Consultant to join our growing team in Clayfield, QLD. This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for driving sales and delivering exceptional customer service to both retail and trade customers.

What you'll be doing

  • Proactively engage with customers to understand their needs and recommend the most suitable appliances and solutions
  • Manage the full sales cycle from initial enquiry to order fulfilment and after-sales support
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with trade customers such as Architects, designers, builders, cabinet makers, electricians and contractors
  • Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets
  • Stay up-to-date with product knowledge and industry trends
  • Provide exceptional customer service and a premium shopping experience
  • Collaborate with the broader sales team to share best practices and support each other

What we're looking for

  • Ideally, you will have experience in a sales or customer-facing role, preferably within the appliances, home improvement or building industry
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with customers
  • Excellent product knowledge and the ability to match customer needs with the right solutions
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • A keen eye for detail and the ability to provide a premium customer experience
  • Passion for the appliances industry and a desire to stay up-to-date with market trends
  • Confident in using technology and sales tools to optimise performance
