About The Role
Initially based in our North Sydney office, you will transition to site to become the sole HR Advisor supporting a diverse workforce of engineers, blue-collar teams, and HSE professionals. You will deliver both strategic and generalist HR services across workforce planning, remuneration, and talent development within a large-scale pipeline construction project.
This is a part-time role requiring onsite presence three days per week, with flexible hours to suit construction schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide core HR services including onboarding, performance management, and employee relations
- Manage workforce planning and mobilisation of resources
- Lead diversity, inclusion, and HR compliance reporting
- Support talent development, change management, and cultural initiatives
- Administer remuneration and benefits programs
About You
You'll be the go-to HR presence for the project, so independence and initiative are key. We're looking for someone who is confident working autonomously, proactive in anticipating issues, and comfortable making decisions without daily guidance. You'll thrive in a setting where no two days are the same and will bring the resilience to adapt quickly within a busy construction environment.
If you are a strong communicator, able to build trust across all levels of a workforce, and enjoy rolling up your sleeves to get things done, you'll succeed in this role. HR qualifications are an advantage, but we also welcome applicants with transferable skills and the drive to learn.
