Due to ongoing growth and new exciting projects, an outstanding opportunity has presented itself for a talented HR professional to join their team as an HR Advisor. Based at their Wetherill Park operation, this is a true generalist position with a national portfolio supporting the growing businesses' HR activities. You will foster relationships through strong communication to ensure human resources is embedded into the operations of the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Key HR Lead for designated pillar with frontline support to pillars within your geographical location/state.
  • Partnering with the business to provide human resource expertise to support the smooth running of day-to-day operations.
  • A strong focus on end-to-end recruitment processes activities from approval process, position description and advert design, shortlisting, interview and pre-employment checks.
  • Interstate travel to ensure face to face support for our stakeholders.
  • Managing employee relations matters including but not limited to misconduct, underperformance matters and workplace investigations.
  • Managing and promoting the annual performance appraisal processes including mentoring managers and employees, providing best practices solutions to promote building capability and the succession of our people.
  • Coordinating onboarding and offboarding processes including any training and development requirements and HR reporting data as required.
  • Supporting the delivery of key HR projects and plans in conjunction with the HR team.
  • Communication across other media such as conference calls to ensure participation in HR team meetings and operations meetings.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Ideally qualifications with a Bachelor/Diploma in Human Resources or previous experience in a similar role in generalist HR or In-House/Agency Recruitment.
  • A team player who is willing to support their HR colleagues; collaborative and willingly share information and experiences to enhance the delivery of HR initiatives across the greater ResourceCo group.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to successfully build relationships at all levels to drive employee engagement.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail, time management, planning and evaluation skills.
