Operating within a Joint Venture framework for e2x as our
HR Advisor,
you'll provide proactive, site-based HR support across the employee lifecycle working on a major construction project. You'll ensure compliance with parent company policies and client requirements while driving workforce mobilisation, employee relations, and daily HR operations to maintain an engaged and compliant site workforce.

The Opportunity
Based on site in the
Western Suburbs of Sydney
, you will work closely with Senior HR Managers to support the HR function for the JV, offering guidance on performance, conduct, leave, and wellbeing while ensuring JV policy compliance, and oversee employee relations, addressing grievances, conflicts, performance, disciplinary issues while ensuring JV HR compliance and escalating high-risk cases.
Other responsibilities include:
- Ensure compliance with client requirements while maintaining accurate records.
- Oversee roster implementation, fatigue management, local hires, site attendance, and payroll validation.
- Manage employee records, HR reporting, and workforce planning. Build strong stakeholder relationships and represent JV HR in key meetings. Support EBA interpretation, monitor IR risks, and assist site leaders in workforce engagement.
- Promote a respectful, safety-focused culture and facilitate mental health initiatives. Provide HR training and communicate key policies. Align site HR practices with JV requirements, escalating conflicts when necessary.

Working in a similar role you bring experience as a HR Advisor in the construction and/or engineering field, ideally working on major infrastructure projects. With exceptional organisational, written, verbal, and people skills, you can manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively, with a professional and approachable demeanour.
- You have strong attention to detail and are committed in maintaining confidentiality in all HR matters.
- Hold a qualification in Human Resources, Employee Relations, Psychology, Business or similar, and possess strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
