The Office Services team at Hall & Wilcox has four employees in the Newcastle office. Responsibilities of the team includes front of house (reception), catering and office management.You will be responsible for:opening, sort and distribute inward coming mail;booking couriers for pick up and delivery;photocopying for the Firm in the office and at the courts;binding of documents;distributing incoming faxes (reception);maintain and deliver paper and stationary supplies;house keeping, including maintaining and restocking kitchen supplies;delivery of legal documents to the Courts;daily banking for the Firm;making and recording service calls for the firm's printers;coordinating and process all outgoing mail;relief for Front of House (Lunch breaks and absences);assisting with catering requirements and room set up;preparing files for archiving/ or off-site storage for the first time;returning retrieved files to be sent back to archive;scanning original documents as required; andad hoc duties as and when required.About YouYou will ideally have the following skills and experience:experience in an office or professional services environmentexcellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills;reliable with a 'can do' attitude and proactive approach;strong attention to detail;ability to work autonomously;team player with a flexible approach;strong IT skills and good knowledge of Microsoft Office;ability to work under pressure during peak times;proactive approach with the ability to prioritise; andclient focussed with strong organisational skills.About UsHall & Wilcox is a leading independent Australian law firm.
