The Opportunity

Working hours: Monday - Friday 5am - 2pm

Reporting to our Head Chef, the successful candidate will work as part of a small team providing meals to our on-site employees, including breakfast, morning tea, & lunch. This role will see you working Monday - Thursday 5am - 2pm. As part of your role you  will be required to provide assistance to our Head Chef with menu planning, ordering of supplies as well as preparation and serving of meals. The successful candidate must have experience in a fast paced kitchen and be able to work efficiently and as part of a team.

We are looking for someone on a long term basis.

Your Skills and Experience

  • Experience with preparing and providing meals to large volumes of people.
  • Ensure health and safety guidelines in the kitchen, including food preparation and servicing areas.
  • Be able to work unsupervised and be self-driven.
  • Enjoy cooking.
  • A high level of personal hygiene.
  • Able to manage time and work under pressure.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Punctuality.
  • Able to work well in a team
  • A can do attitude
