IT Service Technician – FNQ Townsville

System Services BeyondeBiz is seeking a solutions-focused IT Technician to join our skilled support team. You'll be working across Far North Queensland to keep specialised business systems running smoothly.

What You'll Do:

  • Install, configure, and support a wide range of technology-driven business systems, including customer-facing terminals, secure payment devices, and interactive service equipment
  • Provide on-site technical support for businesses across industries such as, retail, banking and manufacturing
  • Maintain and troubleshoot devices including POS terminals, label printers, smart displays, and industry-specific tools
  • Assist with implementation and support of BeyondeBiz's own systems, including the smart Sashware platform
  • Carry out diagnostics, routine checks, and minor repairs
  • Deliver prompt, professional service that builds trust with our regional clients

What You Bring:

  • Technology experience in field service and IT workshop, Office roles
  • Confidence working with hardware, peripherals, and digital interfaces
  • Familiarity with technology in commercial environments (e.g. payment terminals, touchscreen devices, kiosks)
  • Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
  • A valid driver's license with own car, whitecard, police clearance
  • Ability to work independently, with strong time management
  • Bonus: Experience supporting regional clients or industry-specific systems
