About the role

FNQ Freight and Logistics is seeking an experienced Forklift Driver to join our team in our Cairns, QLD 4870 warehouse. This full-time role is an integral part of our warehousing and logistics operations, responsible for the safe and efficient loading, unloading and movement of goods and materials.

What you'll be doing

  1. Safely operating forklifts and other materials handling equipment to load, unload, and move goods and materials within the warehouse
  2. Assisting with the receipt, storage, and dispatch of all goods and materials
  3. Adhering to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
  4. Collaborating with the wider logistics team to ensure efficient warehouse operations
  5. Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the warehouse

What we're looking for

  1. Forklift licence and experience operating forklifts
  2. Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately
  3. Good communication and teamwork skills
  4. Commitment to safety and workplace procedures
  5. Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines
  6. Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
