Are you an experienced medical receptionist looking for a long-term role in a respected and supportive specialist clinic?

Kew Dermatology is a specialist dermatology practice located in the inner east close to Kew junction. We are known for delivering high-quality, patient-focused care in a professional and inclusive environment.

We are seeking a casual, part-time or full-time Medical Receptionist to join our friendly and growing team. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with previous medical reception experience who is looking for a rewarding and stable role in a specialist setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Welcoming and checking in patients
  • Managing appointments via phone and email
  • Handling medical billing and Medicare/DVA/private claims
  • Coordinating patient correspondence and referrals
  • Supporting medical practitioners and nursing staff with daily administrative tasks
  • Maintaining high standards of organisation and patient care at reception

About You:
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a medical receptionist role
  • Experience using Genie practice management software is highly regarded
  • Confident using technology and adaptable to new platforms
  • Professional, courteous, and patient-focused communication style
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Well-presented and comfortable working in a busy environment
  • Enthusiastic team player with a proactive attitude
