BCA Engineers is seeking a junior finance administrator to join our Adelaide office. Applicants with MYOB experience are also encouraged to apply.

We are a building services engineering consultancy, with locations in Adelaide, Darwin, and Melbourne. BCA Engineers provides building services engineering for education, healthcare, industrial, corporate, retail, hospitality, cultural, sports & recreation sectors as well as local/state government clients.

About the role

Reporting to the Finance Manager, your primary responsibilities in the role will be the processing invoices and internal expenses.

Australian work authorisation is required at the time of application.

Skills and experience

We are seeking applicants at entry level who are looking to take their first steps within a finance team. We have a long term vision for this role; offering a clear career progress roadmap to senior/management position.

You will be either have recently completed a relevant finance qualification (or will be working towards your finance qualifications) or you may be an experienced Accounts Clerk who is looking to return to the workplace

A minimum of Certificate III/IV in finance or a related qualification is required.

You will be proficient in MS Suite, and be able to work both independently and as part the administration team.

Intermediate Excel proficiency level is required for this position.

You will be a well-presented self-starter who demonstrates initiative and enthusiasm along with a flexible and adaptable nature. In addition, you will have strong communication skills with a confident phone manner to liaise both internal and external.

Key Responsibilities

  • Processing client Invoices across the business
  • Processing Internal reimbursements across the business
  • Assist with project and timesheet administration

Other Responsibilities

  • Maintaining a filing system of invoices and payments
  • Investigate and resolve client queries
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Assisting with other Administration and Finance tasks as requested.
