We are currently looking for a full-time Construction Estimator with minimum 3-5 years of experience to join our friendly team. Our business is in West Perth The annual salary will be between $75,000 to $85,000.

Job Title: Construction Estimator

Position Overview: The Construction Estimator will play a crucial role in supporting construction projects by working closely with Construction Managers, Architects, and Surveyors. This role involves a range of duties from planning and organizing to cost estimation and compliance inspections.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist Construction Managers, Architects, and Surveyors with project planning and organization.
  • Coordinate works programs to ensure alignment with project goals and timelines.
  • Interpret and review plans, regulations, and codes of practice.
  • Prepare preliminary sketches, working drawings, and specifications.
  • Edit and revise plans, maps, charts, and drawings as needed.
  • Inspect work and materials to ensure compliance with specifications, regulations, and standards.
  • Calculate costs and estimate time scales for project completion.
  • Perform routine computations and plot preliminary data to support accurate estimates.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in interpreting technical plans and specifications.
  • Experience with surveying instruments and data collection methods.
  • Strong ability to perform cost calculations and time estimations.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations, codes of practice, and industry standards.
  • Excellent organizational and coordination skills.
