About the Role

This role offers the perfect opportunity for someone with strong on-site experience in landscape or general construction who's ready to
move off the tools
and into an
estimating career path
.

Working closely with an experienced Estimating and Project teams, you'll assist in preparing accurate tenders and quotes, support subcontractor engagement, and provide practical insights into design feasibility and cost-effective delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the preparation of tenders, quotes, and project costings.
  • Review plans, specifications, and site conditions to ensure accurate pricing.
  • Liaise with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to gather pricing and scope details.
  • Maintain estimating databases and project documentation.
  • Support the broader construction and project delivery teams as required.

Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience in
    landscape construction
    or
    general construction
    (essential).
  • Strong interest in estimating, project planning, and commercial aspects of construction.
  • Ability to read and interpret landscape plans and specifications.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Competency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); estimating software an advantage.
  • Certificate III in Landscape Construction or equivalent trade qualification highly regarded.
