Full time Chef

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Full time Chef to join our talented kitchen team at sagunindian resturent' in Katoomba, NSW. As a full-time Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking delicious, high-quality Indian cuisine for our customers in a fast-paced, professional kitchen environment.

What you'll be doing

  • Preparing and cooking a variety of Indian dishes, ensuring consistent quality and presentation
  • Collaborating with the Head Chef to develop new menu items and specials
  • Maintaining a clean, organised and hygienic kitchen workspace
  • Ensuring all food safety and hygiene standards are met
  • Providing guidance and support to kitchen staff as needed
  • Participating in inventory management and ordering of kitchen supplies

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 1-2 years' experience as a Chef, preferably in an Indian restaurant or similar
  • Strong knowledge of Indian and nepali cuisine, flavours and cooking techniques
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer service
  • Relevant qualifications in professional cookery or culinary arts
