As a global franchising dessert café brand, we are playing a leading role in the dessert cafe industry of the great Sydney area.

We are currently seeking a full-time Chef for our busy business located in Chatswood Interchange, Chatswood NSW 2067.

Your duties will include:

  • Prepare and present the customized food orders.
  • Monitoring the quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation
  • Maintain a high standard and consistent quality in the daily food preparation.
  • Keep abreast of the new products, recipes, and preparation techniques.
  • Coordinate and participate with other sections of requirements, cleanliness, wastages, and cost control.
  • Working on and with the hot and cold commercial kitchen equipment.
  • Monitoring and controlling wastage, and portion control on a day-by-day basis Responsible for ensuring food safety and kitchen sanitation.
  • Responsible for food ordering and kitchen maintenance.
  • Organizing the food inventory and ordering supplies.
  • Training new kitchen staff

Salary rates:

$77,000 - $80,000+Superannuation

Requirements of position:

  • Diploma in Kitchen Management or at least 3 years equivalent work experiences as a chef
  • At least two years relevant experiences as a chef
