About Us

Wishart State School P&C Association supports a school of over 1100 students and provides essential services to the school community through our business units which include Tuckshop, Uniform Shop and Fundraising events.

The Role

Wishart State School P&C Association is seeking an enthusiastic casual Retail Assistant to join our Tuckshop and Uniform Shop teams in a dual-role. The hours will be as per operational requirements and during term-time only.

Some key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assisting the Tuckshop Convenor with food preparation of student orders
  • Assisting the Tuckshop Convenor with over-the-counter sales to students
  • Assisting the Uniform Shop Convenor with uniform sales and orders

About You

  • Experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Ability to work in a team environment, with excellent communication and time management skills
  • Hold a current Blue Card or be willing to obtain a blue card
  • Relevant Food Safety qualifications or be willing to obtain
  • Knowledge of the Smart Choices Guidelines for school tuckshops

Conditions of employment will be as per the Parents and Citizens Associations Award – State 2016.
