Tuckshop Operations Manager

A key role exists for a Tuckshop Manager at Narangba State School.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and organisational skills, with the ability to manage finances, supervise staff and provide exceptional customer service.
About the Role- This is a part-time, temporary position responsible for managing the school tuckshop, providing quality customer service, and ensuring efficient operation of the tuckshop.
- Operations Management: Manage daily operations of the tuckshop, supervise tuckshop staff, and ensure high standards of hygiene are maintained.
- Financial Management: Oversee financial management of the tuckshop, including budgeting, ordering stock and processing payments.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to students and staff, responding to their needs and concerns in a friendly and professional manner.
- Volunteer Coordination: Recruit, train and coordinate volunteers to assist with day-to-day operations of the tuckshop.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and upgrade equipment to ensure it remains in good working condition.
- Records Management: Keep accurate records of sales, expenses, stock levels and volunteer hours worked.
- Understanding of food handling procedures and Smart Choices strategy.
- Ability to supervise and coordinate others in a warm and professional manner.
- Basic financial management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and use knowledge and initiative to problem solve.
- Commitment to service and performance excellence.
