About the Role
Senior Software Asset Officer
  • Managing the Software Asset Management (SAM) tool and software deployment tracking
  • Overseeing licensing, support, and compliance audits
  • Producing reports and analysing software usage and deployment
  • Supporting vendor compliance reviews and interpreting EULAs
  • Providing guidance on governance and internal processes
  • Collaborating with technical teams and stakeholders across the program
The Successful Candidate

Essential Skills & Experience:
  • Experience with enterprise licensing agreements and asset management tools
  • Strong knowledge of CMDBs, software discovery tools, and vendor negotiation
  • Certified SAFe Practitioner
Desirable:
  • Experience in Defence or Australian Government environments
  • Qualifications in IT Asset Management, Project Management, or Systems Engineering
  • Familiarity with tools such as JIRA Insight, TAMIT, APM, SharePoint, and Excel
