About the Team
The LAND121 Through Life Support (TLS) team support the Commonwealth of Australia in relation to our delivered Logistic Vehicles. Reporting to the TLS Program Director, the Logistic Vehicle Materials SME will collaborate with a number of stakeholders including internal teams and external suppliers.
About the Role
As the Logistic Vehicle Materials SME, you will be the Principal Spare Parts Materials Specialist in support of our delivered Logistic Vehicles. You will hold expert knowledge on matters related to spare parts, vendors, and processes; as well as having a strong understanding of our customer's requirements. The successful candidate will work closely with key internal stakeholders to help facilitate the delivery of spare parts to maximize value, efficiency, collaboration and customer satisfaction.
The Logistic Vehicle Materials SME will expect some their daily duties to include:
- Obsolescence Management Strategy Development in conjunction with key internal and external stakeholders;
- Managing and Maintaining Spare Parts and Codification Data in SAP, including all technical and non-technical data;
- Identify, qualify and implement domestic alternative vendors for Spare Parts;
- Advise and collaborate the TLS Program Director on Systems, Tools and Processes; and
- Provide Technical Support to Supply Chain Specialists and Maintainers, as well as providing inputs to Engineering activities.

The experience and skillset best suited to this role includes:
- Tertiary Qualification in Business or related;
- Detailed understanding of Inventory Management and planning;
- In-depth understanding of Engineering Change impacts on materiel planning;
- Detailed experience with SAP;
- Excellent ability to collaborate and communicate effectively, both written and verbal; and
- Eligibility to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance (Australian Citizenship required).
