We are seeking a Senior Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join our Construction Materials leadership team. The Senior Human Resources Business Partner is a permanent, full-time position based in either
Melbourne, Brisbane or Sydney.
 Reporting directly to the COO – Construction Materials, this is a senior strategic and operational role providing expert HR guidance across multiple sites and business units.

The Opportunity

As the Senior HRBP, you will:

  • Act as the key advisor for all people-related matters within the Construction Materials business unit.
  • Partner with General Managers and senior leaders to deliver HR strategy, policies, and workforce planning that align with operational and growth objectives.
  • Provide hands-on support across the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and leadership development.
  • Guide managers through industrial relations, employee engagement, and organisational development matters with confidence and integrity.
  • Influence culture, capability, and retention strategies across a large, dynamic workforce.

About You

We are looking for an experienced HR leader with:

  • 8+ years of senior HR generalist experience with strong exposure to industrial relations and employee relations.
  • A proven ability to partner with executives and senior managers, influencing decision-making in a complex, fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in construction, manufacturing, or a similar industrial sector (highly desirable).
  • Strong coaching, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity.
  • A tertiary qualification in HR, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Flexibility to travel interstate as required.
