The Role

We are seeking a motivated and versatile Sales & Marketing Representative to join our team and help drive growth in the equine and poultry feed market. This role blends sales, customer engagement, and creative marketing, making it ideal for someone who can combine industry knowledge with communication and design skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers, including feed merchants, trainers, breeders, and farmers.
  • Actively promote Demeter Feeds' horse and chicken feed product lines.
  • Leverage your existing network within the equine feed industry to expand our customer base.
  • Provide informed advice to customers on animal nutrition and feeding solutions.
  • Manage and grow Demeter Feeds' social media presence, including content creation and community engagement.
  • Design and coordinate in-store marketing materials such as signage, point-of-sale displays, and promotional content.
  • Represent Demeter Feeds at trade events, shows, and customer meetings.
  • Achieve sales targets and contribute to the company's growth strategy.

About You:

We are looking for someone who can bring both industry knowledge and creative marketing ability.

  • Experience in the animal feed, livestock nutrition, or agribusiness sector.
  • Strong existing network, particularly in the horse feed industry.
  • Solid understanding of animal nutrition principles (equine and poultry preferred).
  • Demonstrated success in sales or business development.
  • Experience managing social media accounts and creating marketing content.
  • Basic graphic design skills (e.g. Canva, Adobe, or similar tools).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
