KSB is a leading global pump manufacturer with sales and service branches throughout Australia.

The Senior Manager – TSS is responsible for overseeing and support all estimating and internal sales functions. Working closely with other team members you will be responsible for providing a service to all external sales teams in their quest to always deliver professional advice to all KSB's customers on a day-to-day basis.

Main responsibilities:

  • Actively promote a safe work environment and support KSB safety guidelines and procedures.
  • All internal applications work including the following but not limited to:
  • Pump selections, including price and submission of detailed quotations.
  • Tender review and submissions.
  • Review work for accuracy, completeness, and proper authority/approval.
  • Comply with company policies, practices, and procedures.
  • Order entry and process of pump sales.
  • Order handover to both production and project management.
  • Office general phone and email enquiries.
  • Providing technical advice for customers and external sales representatives.
  • Work with the General Managers, Product Specialists and Business Development Managers (BDM's) for the continual improvement and rollout of the overall KSB strategy and individual product strategies such identification of key customers, accounts.
  • Investigating and writing reports as required.
  • Work with consultants/end users for firm quotations and design work as required.
  • Understand customer needs and support the sales team with prompt and effective responses to customer requests and queries.
  • Constantly review work/projects with General Managers, Product Specialists and Business Development Managers (BDM's), highlighting and focusing on key strategic projects.

  • Good verbal and written communications skills
  • Ability to be both strategic and tactical, able to see the big picture, plan and organize effectively.
  • Good negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Customer business and industry understanding.
  • Strong knowledge of KSB's portfolio.
  • Experience working in large matrix organization.
  • Strong networking skills.
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
  • The ability to work unsupervised
  • Strong work ethics and an understanding of corporate requirements
