Business Analyst – Payroll Systems

Contract Role | Large-Scale Implementation Project

We're looking for an experienced Business Analyst to support a major payroll system implementation in a large organisation. You'll play a key role in gathering requirements, facilitating workshops, documenting processes, and supporting testing activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Gather and document business and system requirements (waterfall environment)

  • Facilitate workshops and meetings to capture needs from stakeholders

  • Map processes and write clear procedure manuals and supporting documentation

  • Work closely with internal teams and external vendors to ensure alignment

  • Provide support throughout the testing phase

  • Collaborate with Payroll SMEs and related teams (e.g. rostering, workforce planning)

About You
  • Experience working in a Payroll team is essential

  • Proven experience in payroll system implementation in a large organisation

  • Experience with ADP payroll systems is highly desirable

  • Solid understanding of HR functions such as core HR and onboarding is a plus

  • Strong facilitation and communication skills

  • Great listener and confident communicator

  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently

  • Strong stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills

  • Team player, adaptable, and happy to support SMEs when needed
