The Payroll Agency has been engaged to recruit this brilliant opportunity for a Senior Payroll Officer to join a well-established business that truly values payroll as a strategic function not just a back-office task. As a Senior Payroll Officer, you'll take ownership of end-to-end payroll processing while supporting compliance, reporting, and projects. You'll be the trusted go-to for payroll queries, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and a smooth employee experience.

Base pay range

A$100,000.00/yr - A$110,000.00/yr

Responsibilities
  • Manage full-function payroll for a mid-to-large workforce
  • Ensure compliance across superannuation, taxation, awards, and EBAs
  • Maintain employee data and deliver accurate reporting
  • Support payroll implementations and process improvements
  • Partner with HR, finance, and senior leaders to resolve queries
  • Contribute to payroll projects and mentor junior team members
Qualifications
  • Experience in end to end payroll processing
  • Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation and compliance
