Who we are:

Master Builders Victoria (MBV) represents over 6,000 members within the building construction industry across Victoria, including large and small builders across the domestic and commercial sectors, as well as apprentices, suppliers, and manufacturers. Key Position Tasks:

As the Member Engagement Manager, you will be responsible for driving and retaining growth across our membership base in the North/Eastern region of Melbourne, extending but not limited to Lysterfield, Doncaster, Hawthorn and Mooroolbark.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining and increasing membership categories and verticals
  • Proactively engaging with new and prospective members across a broad range of sectors to offer them effective training and development solutions and services that meet their current or future needs
  • Ensuring appropriate communication is maintained with members via meetings, emails newsletters and other MBV collateral
  • Creating engagement and participation at events (virtual and face-to-face) and supporting the wider Member Engagement team to actively promote the products and services MBV

Key Skills, Attributes and Experience:

  • Ability to resource internal/external clients to achieve exemplary customer service
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written to ensure rapport building with existing and external members
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, influencing and interpersonal skills
  • Planning and organisational skills
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and MS Office Suite
  • Willingness to travel across the region and across Metropolitan Melbourne as required
  • Experience in a member-based organisation
