As a result of significant project wins and ongoing organic growth, we are seeking a Design Coordinator to join our dynamic Sydney team, working across multiple projects both locally and regionally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support project delivery across all stages, ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, and quality objectives.
  • Coordinate the design process to meet project goals and compliance requirements.
  • Manage document control and organisation through Aconex.
  • Ensure all DA conditions are met to achieve CC certification.
  • Maintain accurate records of design progress, changes, and approvals.
  • Attend client and consultant meetings and prepare detailed minutes.
  • Contribute to the preparation of project reports and design documentation.
  • Organise and facilitate Design Coordination meetings with consultants and contractors
  • Manage shop drawing design review process
  • Incorporate lessons learnt from previous experience and projects to engineer out common building problems
  • Assist project teams with DA, S455 Mod, CC and OCs.
  • Carry out site inspections to review quality and engineering practices are being implemented
  • Resolve site RFIs raised by project teams

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Project Management or equivalent.

  • Solid local experience as a Design Coordinator, Site Engineer or Project Coordinator on commercial building projects.

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
