Casual Cake Decorator – Seasonal Role (Homebush West)

Location: Homebush West, NSW

Job Type: Casual / Seasonal (2 days per week)

Start: Immediate

End Date: Approximately end of the 3rd week of December

About the Role:

We're looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Cake Decorator to join our team for the busy Christmas season. This is a hands-on role for someone with experience in decorative piping and working with baked goods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Piping and decorating gingerbread cookies
  • Assembling and piping gingerbread houses
  • Maintaining a clean and organised workstation
  • Working efficiently to meet production targets

Hours & Schedule:

  • Daytime hours: 8:00 a.m. – 4 p.m. (can be flexible)
  • 2 weekdays per week (flexible which days)
  • Immediate start with the role concluding around the third week of December

About You:

  • Must have previous experience in cake decorating
  • Must show demonstrated skills in piping work, preferably royal icing (as this is the icing being used)
  • Strong attention to detail and steady piping skills
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
