Loveit Cakes is looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Baker to join our friendly, family-run team

We take pride in crafting delicious, beautiful cakes and sweet treats for every customer who walks through our doors. We are looking for someone to assist us in the November and December period. This is a casual position and we require flexibility

  • Reliability and commitment to meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth daily operations and on-time order delivery.
  • Bake cakes, cupcakes, biscuits, and other desserts.
  • Prepare curds, buttercream, and fillings.
  • Line, fill, and de-pan cake tins.
  • Store, label, and date baked goods and fillings properly.
  • Assist in preparing weekly orders and other bakery tasks as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, organised workspace — including washing dishes and keeping surfaces spotless.
  • Check stock levels and help with inventory management.
  • Keep fridge and freezer areas neat and orderly

Job Types: Casual, Seasonal, Temp to perm

Contract length: 2 months

Pay: $31.19 – $32.00 per year
