Cake Decorator

Seeking a skilled, efficient and confident cake decorator Must have over 3 years experience piping cakes such as various cupcake styles.

We are a friendly wholesale dessert company currently located in West End and relocating into our brand new kitchen in Stafford in 6 weeks, we produce plant based cakes and slices for cafes and restaurants around the country.

We are looking for a skilled Pastry Cook for cake decoration to pipe and finish 4 to 5 different styles. They are generally quite straight forward but confidence and experience is required to maintain an efficient pace.

Your role will also involve operating mixers, measuring ingredients, layering slices and adding the final decorative touches such as sprinkling on edible flowers and crumbles etc.

Other than skill, what we're looking for is someone kind and friendly, who communicates clearly and has a great work ethic. To match our team.

**Hours**:5 days per week (if you are only looking for a few days, this is fine just let us know during the interview). Shift: 7am to 3:30pm weekdays only, your weekends are entirely yours.

**Location**:West End. **NOTE: We are relocating to Stafford at the end of December.**

**What we're looking for**:

- #1 Someone who is very confident with piping cupcake styles and can build up a steady pace. We don't have the time at the moment to train piping beginners or those with only home based practice, so you must have experience in a professional and commercial setting.
- #2 A minimum of 3 years piping cakes professionally within a food production environment. E.g. as a baker, cook, cake decorator, pastry chef etc.
- #3 You bring a positive energy to the workplace via enthusiasm, respectful communication and work ethic.
- #4 Confident speaking english.

Pay: From $33.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
