Purpose of the role
The Claims Specialist manages each claim in their portfolio end to end using deep expertise to deliver the best outcomes for our intermediated customers
Up to 18 Month fixed term
Key priorities
- Manage a portfolio of 120–160 Home and Landlord claims.
- Provide exceptional customer service and clear communication.
- Drive timely, cost-effective claim resolutions.
- Build strong relationships with brokers, suppliers, and partners.
- Recommend accurate reserves and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Proactively manage risk and support a safe workplace.
- Champion Youi's values while seeking ways to improve efficiency.
About you - Experience & Knowledge:
What we're looking for:
- 2+ years' experience managing Home or Landlord insurance claims.
- Strong knowledge of property claims legislation, regulations, and best practice.
- Understanding of the insurance industry and broker relationships.
- Customer-focused with solutions-driven, commercial decision-making skills.
- Organised, self-motivated, and confident in managing priorities.
- Degree desirable, but not essential.
Success in this role means:
- Delivering great outcomes for customers and brokers.
- Resolving claims efficiently and effectively.
- Achieving strong financial and customer satisfaction results.
Ways of working
Youi offers a hybrid model: in-office Tuesday to Thursday, remote Mondays and Fridays.
Sippy Downs & Fortitude Valley:
This role can be based at either our Headquarters in Sippy Downs or our Fortitude Valley office.
