THE ROLE:

We're seeking a Marketing Manager (Men's Footwear Category) to lead the growth of Bared's men's range across retail and online channels. With a deep passion for fashion and 5+ years' marketing experience, you'll combine strategic thinking, analytical rigour, PR expertise, and creative storytelling to deliver campaigns that build brand awareness, grow our database, and strengthen retention.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (including but not limited to):

  • Own the men's annual and seasonal marketing strategy, aligned with global business objectives.
  • Manage the men's marketing calendar, ensuring all campaigns, launches, and content are delivered on time and on brief.
  • Set clear KPIs around brand awareness, database growth, PR impact, and retention.

  • Develop and execute the men's footwear PR strategy across AU/NZ, US, and UK markets.
  • Build and nurture relationships with men's fashion editors, stylists, influencers, and media outlets.
  • Draft and distribute men's press releases, seasonal lookbooks, and editorial pitches.
  • Secure product placement in men's lifestyle features ("best shoes for work/weddings/travel") and brand stories that highlight Bared's style, comfort, and sustainability.
  • Work with PR agencies where relevant, ensuring men's priorities are amplified in all campaigns.
  • Deliver strategies to grow the men's customer database through acquisition campaigns, PR moments, events, and partnerships.
  • Work with e-commerce and retention teams to deliver personalised, data-driven initiatives that increase engagement and repeat purchase.
  • Brief, manage, and optimise campaigns across digital, social, email, retail, PR, and traditional channels.
  • Lead men's category product launches with compelling narratives and integrated go-to-market plans.
  • Partner with retail teams to drive traffic, activations, and in-store performance.
  • Write all copy for men's campaigns: product descriptions, web content, emails, ads, social captions, and PR/editorial notes.
  • Work alongside the Head of Creative to plan and deliver men's focused content shoots, ensuring assets are aspirational, on-brand, and multi-channel ready.
  • Ensure Bared Men's tone of voice and identity are consistently applied across all touchpoints.
  • Identify and manage partnerships and collaborations that resonate with the men's audience.
  • Explore precinct, B2B, and brand opportunities to elevate awareness.
  • Manage influencer and talent collaborations to build credibility and reach.
  • Adapt and localise men's marketing and PR plans for global markets (USA, UK, NZ, Singapore).
  • Own men's range marketing reporting, translating data into clear insights that drive continuous improvement across campaigns and channels.

ABOUT YOU:

  • 5+ years' marketing experience, ideally in fashion retail or lifestyle brands.
  • A critical and analytical thinker, confident in interpreting data and applying insights to strategy.
  • Proven success in PR strategy & execution for men's fashion or lifestyle.
  • Strong experience driving database growth and retention strategies.
  • Collaborative mindset with proven ability to work across e-commerce, retail, creative, and PR teams.
  • Exceptional copywriting ability, with a natural flair for crafting compelling men's brand and product stories.
  • Track record in managing campaigns, marketing calendars, and content shoots.
  • Experience in partnerships, collaborations, and influencer management.
  • International market experience is highly regarded.
