We are seeking an Apprentice Carpenter to join our Attic construction team to build 2nd story extensions. The successful candidate will work alongside experienced carpenters to learn the trade and develop their skills.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about carpentry and wants to build a career in the construction industry.

Responsibilities:

• Assist experienced carpenters with various tasks such as measuring, cutting, and installing materials.
• Learn how to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Follow building plans and engineering plans to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Maintain a clean and organized work site.
• Communicate effectively with team members and site supervisors.

Qualifications/Expectations:

• Basic knowledge of carpentry tools and materials.
• Certificate II (preferred, not essential).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced carpenters.
• Have your own vehicle and valid drivers license.
• Must be reliable.
• The applicant must have the legal right to work in Australia and have a valid and current drivers license.
