As a contractor to the Australian Federal and NSW governments, Parklife Metro is leading a transformative metro project connecting St Marys to Bradfield, linking with the new Western Sydney Airport.

The Parklife Metro (PLM) consortium made up of Plenary, RATP Dev, Siemens, and Webuild is delivering the Stations, Systems, Trains and Operations & Maintenance (SSTOM) package of works for the Sydney Metro-Western Sydney Airport (SM-WSA) project.

RDWSA will proudly operate and maintain 6 new stations, 12 metro trains, core rail systems, and a state-of-the-art stabling and maintenance facility at Orchard Hills on the Western Sydney Airport metro line for 15 years after the line has become operational.

About The Role
Reporting to the P&C Director, this role will play a key part in developing and delivering employee experience, organisational development, and social inclusion programs that leave a lasting impact on both our people and the communities we serve.

Your Day-to-day Responsibilities May Include

  • Developing and implementing workforce development and industry participation strategies that support organisational goals and project requirements
  • Working with internal and external stakeholders, including Sydney Metro, consortium partners, government agencies, and training providers, to design and deliver impactful initiatives
  • Creating a positive and inclusive workplace by enhancing wellbeing, diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives
  • Building fit-for-purpose policies that reflect a strong commitment to social responsibility and employee experience
  • Expanding our employee rewards and recognition program to ensure we celebrate the contribution and success of our team
  • Supporting the delivery of graduate, apprenticeship, and trainee programs in partnership with universities and TAFE
  • Coordinating with procurement to promote social procurement practices, prioritising engagement with small, Aboriginal-owned, and inclusive businesses
  • Leading the implementation of the 'Professional Integration Program' in collaboration with the RATP Dev Foundation Group
  • Supporting the delivery of cultural awareness and professional development training across the organisation
  • Developing reporting tools to track and communicate progress against workforce and industry participation goals

About You

Role
We're looking for a purpose-driven professional to help shape the future of our workforce and drive meaningful social outcomes across our project. In this role, you'll be empowered to lead with care, champion inclusion, and deliver initiatives that make a genuine impact - both within our team and in the communities we serve. To be successful in the role, you will bring:

  • 5+ years of demonstrated experience in diversity and inclusion, workforce development, or corporate social responsibility
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, or Psychology, with a focus on Human Resources
  • Experience in a similar role within the rail or construction sectors (preferred)
  • Proven success in designing and implementing strategies, policies, and plans that promote industry participation and inclusion
  • Experience delivering Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander participation programs
  • The ability to stay calm under pressure and manage competing priorities
  • Excellent planning, organisation, and communication skills
  • Strong relationship-building capabilities and a collaborative working style
