Mudgee New South Wales, Australia First National Real Estate Mudgee Full time $60,000 - $90,000 per year

Own the numbers across company accounts, payroll, and both Sales and Property Management trust accounts. You'll work directly with the Principals to keep finances accurate, compliant, and on time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Company accounts: accounts payable/accounts receivable, bank recs, month-/year-end reporting, BAS/GST.
  • Payroll: Wages, PAYG, super, records & compliance.
  • PM Trust: Daily receipting, bonds, daily/monthly recs, mid-/end-month disbursements, invoice payments, arrears oversight.
  • Sales Trust: Deposit receipting, settlement disbursements, refunds, coordination with agents/solicitors.
  • Compliance & audit: Maintain NSW trust compliance, prepare annual audit packs, resolve discrepancies.
  • Reporting & comms: Monthly P&L, cash flow, trust summaries; liaise with PM & Sales teams; drive process improvements.

About You

  • Experience: 2+ years in finance/accounting; real estate trust accounting highly regarded.
  • Qualifications: Cert IV in Accounting & Bookkeeping (preferred). Willing to obtain Cert IV in Real Estate Practice (training provided). NSW Registration/Licence a plus.
  • Tech: MYOB (accounts), Reckon (payroll) or similar; strong Excel.
  • Attributes: Meticulous, trustworthy, organised, clear communicator, problem-solver, team player.
