About the Hotel - W Melbourne
W Melbourne is the rebel between the streets, sitting in the heart of the Melbourne CBD on the iconic Flinders Lane, the luxury hotel takes its design cues from Australia's cultural capital and providing the back-lane entrance keys to what's New/Next in the city. Extending the laneway culture inside, 294 bold rooms and suites peel back the layers and revel in the city's history. About the Venue
Lollo is our Italian Restaurant responsible for serving our remixed luxury buffet breakfast, along with a la carte lunch and dinner, while Bar Lollo services Italian Spuntini (small bites). We service our in-house W guests and the local corporate and Melbourne CBD community.

What We Expect of You
- Experience in a dynamic restaurant setting is highly valued.
- A passion for culinary artistry and a desire to innovate in the kitchen.
- Background in high-end restaurant or banquet kitchen is advantageous.

- Qualifications in Commercial Cookery III and IV or equivalent are preferred.

A Glance at What You Will Do
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food.
- Wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables.
- Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients.
- Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklist.
- Prepare cold foods. Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers.
- Test foods to determine if they have been cooked sufficiently.
- Monitor food quality while preparing food. Set-up and break down work station.
- Serve food in proper portions onto proper receptacles.
- Wash and disinfect kitchen area, tables, tools, knives, and equipment.
- Check and ensure the correctness of the temperature of appliances and food.
