About the role

We are currently seeking a Part-Time Coordinator – Clinical Quality Compliance to lead our commitment to excellence in clinical care.

This key role is responsible for overseeing our Clinical Quality and Compliance portfolio, including audit processes and continuous improvement initiatives. Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, the Coordinator plays a vital role in strengthening clinical quality systems across the organisation.

With a focus on maintaining compliance, identifying improvement opportunities, and mitigating risk, the Coordinator provides education and support to staff—helping embed our strong culture of clinical excellence. This role works alongside our Quality, Risk and Compliance Coordinator in fostering meaningful relationships across the organisation, ensuring our communication and actions align with our Vision, Purpose, and Values.

Role Requirements/ functions:

  • Support and enhance clinical frameworks across residential and community services.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of clinical quality-related procedures, and improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinate and conduct clinical audits, analyse results, and identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate on the implementation of shared clinical initiatives across work groups.
  • Liaise with the Residential and Community teams to document continuous quality improvement plans.
  • Support Work Health and Safety, and infection control quality standards and systems.
  • Actively participate in relevant committees and working groups related to clinical quality, audits, and risk.
  • Provide resources and guidance materials to support clinical best practices, informed by audits, system reviews, and feedback analysis.
  • Support student learning

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Demonstrated initiative and the ability to work with a degree of autonomy.
  • Enrolled Nurse or Registered Nurse - valid unrestricted registration with AHPRA.
  • Current National Police Check, and Working with Vulnerable People - worker certified.
  • Qualifications, or training in Quality, Risk, or Clinical Governance (highly desirable).
  • Minimum 3 years' clinical experience, preferably in aged care or community health.
  • Prior experience in quality improvement, audit, or clinical governance.
  • Strong understanding of relevant aged care/community standards and regulations.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage and influence clinical teams and leaders.

Desirable

  • Knowledge and experience in the aged care sector or understanding of the National Aged Care Quality Standards.
  • Contributes positively to team culture and interdisciplinary collaboration.
  • A detailed knowledge of, and relevant experience in, quality, risk, audit and compliance.
  • Demonstrates the sharing of knowledge and works as a team member with colleagues.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and clinical quality systems use.
  • Upholds the organisation's values and supports continuous learning and innovation.
