We're looking for a capable and committed Engineering Surveyor to join our team. This hands-on role is based in the field, working directly with our Project Managers, Site Engineers, and delivery teams to provide accurate and timely survey services across the Central Coast, Newcastle, and Hunter Valley.
You'll be a key part of the project team; helping deliver local infrastructure projects with precision, efficiency, and confidence. You'll be trusted to think ahead, solve problems on the go, and contribute meaningfully to the successful delivery of each job.
What you'll be doing:
• Provide engineering survey support for day-to-day civil construction activities
• Use GPS, robotic total stations, and survey software (e.g. 12D, AutoCAD) for fieldwork and data processing
• Set out works and verify quality against plans and specifications
• Work closely with the project team to plan, prioritise and deliver accurate survey data
• Prepare quantity reports and maintain accurate records for progress and payment purposes
• Contribute to safety, environmental and quality compliance across project sites
What we're looking for:
• A Diploma in Surveying (or equivalent)
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar civil construction survey role
• Competency in robotic total stations (ideally Leica), GPS equipment (ideally Topcon or Trimble) and relevant software
• Strong time management and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities across multiple projects
• A proactive, practical mindset and commitment to safety
Working for Robson gives you:
• Competitive salary and benefits package
• Long-term role security in a high-performing, values-driven team
• Flexible hours and the ability to structure your day as required
• The opportunity to work on meaningful civil projects close to home
Are you ready to build your future with Robson and enjoy the journey along the way?
