**About the role**:
John Holland's Infrastructure division is currently constructing some of Australia's most complex projects, including the Black Hill to Tomago M1, Gold Coast Light Rail, and Upper South Creek Advanced Water Recycling Centre. Due to industry expansion, the John Holland Infrastructure business is currently seeking a Quantity Surveyor for an upcoming $450m Water Infrastructure project in regional NSW.

**Responsibilities of the role include**:

- Tracking, monitoring, and controlling costs during the project life cycle
- Interpret specification and standards and assess their impact on project costs
- Using Planning-Budgeting-Forecasting cost control model to increase profitability by identifying the variances between these cost elements
- Analyse actual cost against planned cost and forecast final cost versus budget
- Creation of tender event schedules for procurement programs
- Budget/ Tender reconciliation, change management and variance analysis
- Quantification and costing of construction work
- Quantity Take-off and preparing Bills of Quantities
- Prepare estimates, quantities, prices, costing for project
- Interface with Project managers and Engineers to best manage risks and opportunities

**To be successful in this key role, you must have**:

- Tertiary or Trade Qualification in Quantity Surveying
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role
- Experience on infrastructure projects within construction industry
