Job Description

Oaks Cypress Lakes Resort are seeking several talented and passionate Casual Chef de Parties to join our experienced culinary team. This is your chance to work in a stunning Hunter Valley location alongside a team that takes pride in delivering high-quality dining experiences across breakfast, lunch, and dinner service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with fellow kitchen team members to ensure smooth and efficient daily operations.
  • Prepare and cook meals to the highest standard, following recipes and maintaining consistency.
  • Present beautifully crafted dishes, ensuring every plate leaves the kitchen perfectly dressed.
  • Maintain stock control and ensure the safe and proper storage of food and kitchen supplies.
  • Contribute creative ideas and assist in developing new menu items with the Head Chef.

Qualifications

What We're Looking For:

  • Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent qualification).
  • Proven experience in a similar role within a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Strong knowledge of a variety of cooking methods and techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills and a team-focused mindset.
  • A positive, proactive attitude and genuine passion for food.
  • Flexibility to work across breakfast, lunch, and dinner shifts as per roster requirements.
