**About Us**
Maitland Regional Art Gallery (MRAG) is one of Maitland’s most vibrant spaces, delivering unique and interactive premier art and cultural experiences for our local community and Maitland visitors.

The Art collection features Australian Art from the 1850s to the present day, with a diverse collection rich in historic and archival items, sculpture and contemporary art. **About the Role**

To help execute our vision of delivering high quality and accessible art experiences, we are seeking casual Exhibition Support Officers to join the MRAG team. Exhibition Support Officers work closely with the Curatorial team to prepare and de/install a diverse range of artworks and exhibitions.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to a diverse range of artists and artistic practice whilst contributing to the core operations of the Art Gallery.
- Building, carpentry and construction
- Visual and audio installation
- Experience installing small to large scale exhibitions

This is a casual opportunity, offering an hourly pay rate of $33.6259 + 25% casual loading + super.

**About You**

If you are passionate about helping to create a visually appealing space that connects with our community and helps foster curiosity amongst our visitors, then this is the role for you You will hold relevant tertiary qualifications or be undertaking a relevant degree, coupled with contemporary industry knowledge and demonstrated experience in an Art Gallery or Museum, installing and de-installing exhibitions. Your experience in safe and professional artwork handling procedures will be looked upon favourably, as will an ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and work productively and collaboratively in a team environment.
