Are you a lift fitter or qualified sparky who enjoys hands-on fitting work? SLE Industries is looking for a motivated Elevator Technician to join our growing team. You'll be working on full mechanical and electrical elevator installations and demolition projects across Melbourne, primarily in the commercial space.

This is the role for you if you take pride in your work, enjoy problem-solving, and want to be part of a young, supportive crew that doesn't take life too seriously.

What you'll be doing

  • Installing and demolishing elevators (mechanical and electrical work)
  • Managing your own jobs from start to finish
  • Troubleshooting issues on site and finding solutions
  • Keeping jobs safe and up to a high standard
  • Guiding apprentices or trade assistants and spotting issues early

What you'll bring

  • Mechanical lift fitting experience and/or VIC electrical licence
  • Basic rigging ticket (advanced a bonus)
  • White Card and current driver's licence
  • Confidence with hand and power tools
  • Knowledge of safe work practices
  • A hands-on, practical approach and good communication skills
  • Initiative, reliability, and ability to adapt when situations change
