About the role

Fuji Elevators is seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our dedicated team in Port Melbourne, VIC. As a Service Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our elevator systems. What you'll be doing

  • Perform regular inspections, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of elevator systems
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues, implementing effective solutions to ensure optimal performance
  • Maintain detailed records of all work performed and parts replaced
  • Respond promptly to emergency callouts, working to minimise downtime and provide a high level of customer service
  • Collaborate with the wider team to identify opportunities for process improvements
  • Adhere to all relevant safety standards and regulations

What we're looking for

  • Formal qualifications in Electrical, Mechanical, or Lift Maintenance, or a relevant trade certificate
  • Demonstrated experience as a Service Technician or in a similar role within the elevator or HVAC industry
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and respond effectively to complex issues
  • Strong customer service orientation and the ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders
  • A commitment to safety, with a thorough understanding of relevant OH&S regulations and best practices
  • Flexibility to work outside of standard business hours, including on-call duties, to support our 24/7 service
