Falco Bakery is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Head Pastry Chef to join our team. We are a friendly and hard-working bunch who work with quality ingredients to produce sweet and savoury baked goods.

About The Role:

As Head Pastry Chef at Falco Bakery, you will play a crucial role in creating and executing delicious pastries and baked goods that reflect our commitment to exceptional quality and taste. You are responsible for supporting the team in executing the day-to-day operations as well as ensuring all standards are met resulting in consistency, quality and profitability.

You will help motivate, train and supervise the pastry team and create an open and supportive working environment.

The role does require working weekends and early mornings.

About Us:

Falco Bakery is a small-batch bakery that uses traditional techniques with an innovative spin to create delicious, baked goods. We opened our first Falco on Smith Street back in 2019 and we have been serving our community ever since. Falco Langridge Street is our second home which we opened in February 2023. Falco Johnston Street, our third venue, opened in December 2023.

About You:

To be offered the role of Head Pastry Chef, you will have lamination experience, a deep understanding of pastry techniques and strong attention to detail. Previous management or supervisory experience is essential. Alongside your passion and genuine interest in baking and pastry, you must be reliable, dedicated and able to work using your own initiative as well as being a team player. You have a creative mindset and are dynamic, motivated, organised, patient and responsible.
